With all her length it could take hours to retwist, but here are a few things I do to make retwisting longer locs quicker and easier✨

✨ Using a few big clips or no clips at all:
I used to want to clip down every loc but soon realized it wasn’t necessary for longer locs. I just use some nice jumbo clips with good compression or wrap the locs around each other to hold in place

✨Palm rolling:
If the locs are already mature and no real maintenance or clean up is needed, then palm rolling would be the more efficient way to retwist

✨Seperate those rows out:
I seperate out a whole row and do a quick raking then go back a palm roll, instead of doing everything one loc at a time

The name of the game is doing what method works best for you and sticking with it! Efficiency is always the goal!

Curious about my natural hair journey? Here's why I chose to go natural🌱
I simply was tired of chemicals and excessive heat on my hair. As a teenager, getting relaxers to tame my hair (from a supposed professional😒), I experienced really bad chemical burns on the back of my head, which made getting my hair done torture from that point on. I was so over it that one day I literally went in the bathroom and shaved my head😂 That was January 2006 and I've been natural ever since. Now here I am today, 7 big chops and three sets of locs later😂

And I don't regret it at all, except for combing out my first and second set of locs, but let's not revisit 😂😔

This is why I chose to take the path of natural hair personally and as a business. I wasn't the only one who had these experiences and I wish I'd had someone to help me through it. Now I'm blessed to be in a position to inspire and assist others on their journeys to natural hair health as well as embracing the freedom, confidence and self-love that grows from it❣️

We’re one month in!!!!!🌱🌱🌱 What a difference a month can make! Normally with her texture there is a lot of unraveling but we had no unraveling! All twists were still in tact! Even after the shampoo!
